Canolfan Pentre is a vibrant, growing community centre, providing essential services for the community of Pentre based in the Rhondda.

Our main objective is to combat isolation and loneliness.

We are still working but coordinating a more virtual response due to Covid - 19. Please contact us for more information on how we are working and what we are providing.

We work in partnership with other Third Sector providers, offering clubs, learning opportunities, parent and toddler group, afterschool clubs and a chance to get out and get involved, we also support the food bank and any other organisation that needs practical support that we can offer.

Canolfan Pentre’s main source of income is mainly generated through the hard work and determination of its little volunteer army, we go out bucket collecting, hold raffles, fetes and open the community café to the public where we serve light snacks and refreshments.

Everyone is welcome at Canolfan Pentre, we like to think of ourselves as a home from home, where you are greeted with a warm smile and a helping hand when needed.

Mental wellbeing is also a priority at the centre, we have successful groups that offer a variety of programs, these groups change quarterly so please contact the centre for further information.
