Canolfan Pentre is a community run asset transfer run for the community by the community, we are a little volunteer army that provides a big service, there is always a warm welcome and a smile at the centre.
Funding and Fetes
We rely on funding that we generate ourselves, our volunteers are always looking for new ways to make money, every penny goes back into our centre, it’s become a vital part of the everyday running of the centre, from simple things like bucket collecting, to walking a mountain!
Our fetes generate income that we then put back into the centre, they help to pay towards gas, electricity and water. The older centre users hold two fetes every year and donate the money back to the centre to help towards running costs.
