Canolfan Pentre is a community hub for wellbeing, we strive to combat loneliness and isolation. We work with third sector partners to provide service for the community and wider community.
Canolfan Pentre is run for the community by the community by dedicated staff and volunteers. Through hard work and determination we have created a safe warm and successful environment.
Funding and Fetes
We rely on funding that we generate ourselves, our volunteers are always looking for new ways to make money, every penny goes back into our centre, it’s become a vital part of the everyday running of the project, from simple things like bucket collecting, to walking a mountain!
Our fetes generate income that we then put back into the centre, they help to pay towards gas, electricity and water. The older centre users hold two fetes every year and donate the money back to the centre to help towards running costs.
